  3. Stumbled across your $12K home videos and was not able to stop until I watched all the videos! Great job. Your transparency is refreshing, and your work ethic is one to be admired. I look forward to watching the progress on your "fixer upper".

    1. Ha, glad I hooked you. Thank you for all the time you have spent watching them. My goal is to represent the process as accurately as possible, which isn't always very glorious. Much of the time it is simply hard work, spending a lot of money and hoping things work out. Thanks again.

    2. Hi there. I'd also like to know at least which country you operate in to gauge whether or not your financial strategies apply to me here in Canada. Good luck on your endeavours.

    3. If I may be so bold and answer this. Judging by The Craftsman's accent there is no place he could be from other than the USA. As a fellow Canadian, I'm shocked you didn't know that.

I was telling him about your channel and he wanted to send you free products, all you would do is use the product. Here's a link to the website. 15. Random question. Just out of curiosity (because it popped up on Youtube) I watch your video titled "$12,000 HOUSE - One Man Renovation" and as I watched it, at minute 7:16 I found the background music quite relaxing and wanted to know the name of it, please. (If that's ok hehe.)

  16. @Homemade Home Homey, I was thinking about this today. Here's what I think.
Most of these comments are from women.
(you can tell by how gushy they are written) YOU are the man of their dreams.

Wives and girlfriends are always wanting what Joanna has or some other damned 'improvement', like a dresser all covered with mirror, or some other Brilliant idea that they see on YT or in some women's magazine or at the Jones's.
Women however need "honey" to realize these dreams, right? Hence endless "honeydo" lists. Rarely can They themselves do these projects. But men are expected to know and DO, and we all fall short!
Now if they just had a guy like you?!?!
So the theory is that they are crushing on you and unconsciousnessly "buttering you up", so that YOU can somehow do what their men don't, cannot or won't do.
    See that?
So you have them all wrapped around your little finger in big way. All you have to do is ask them to shout out or mention something in the comments, and OBVIOUSLY they are thrilled to do it. That is how they are going to get the tile ripped out of their bathroom, so they think. I didn't even hear you say that at first, I kinda block out ads.
This is my theory. You could test it out in an upcoming episode???
I am so sorry for the accusation!
But when MOST comments don't even pertain to the video, but just, "Simplialarm" is such a wonderful company!" without saying, "I have had this for a year and like it." They all just say it is great but none say why, I got suspicious.
Many apologies, I know you are telling the truth.
Hope you get this, if so, can you take out the periods and send to yahoo.com?

  20. Just watched the final episode of the $15,000 house and was curious why, when showing the kitchen, you did not put in an exhaust fan either directly through the outer wall to the right or a ventless one over the stove? I rather enjoy your programs!
    Continued best wishes
