My husband and I really enjoy your channel, and we're very glad to see you've posted new videos with the 12k rental you're renovating....keep 'em coming!ReplyDelete
Thank you Laura!Delete
Thank you for encouraging those just starting off.!ReplyDelete
Stumbled across your $12K home videos and was not able to stop until I watched all the videos! Great job. Your transparency is refreshing, and your work ethic is one to be admired. I look forward to watching the progress on your "fixer upper".ReplyDelete
Ha, glad I hooked you. Thank you for all the time you have spent watching them. My goal is to represent the process as accurately as possible, which isn't always very glorious. Much of the time it is simply hard work, spending a lot of money and hoping things work out. Thanks again.Delete
I'm just curious. What state are you in? I want to thank you for all the hard work you do to produce the videos for us. You are going to be a huge success my friend!!ReplyDelete
I appreciate you asking and your compliments but I have chosen to leave personal details about myself as private as possible. This is for multiple reasons, I hope you understand. Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos and visiting my website.Delete
Hi there. I'd also like to know at least which country you operate in to gauge whether or not your financial strategies apply to me here in Canada. Good luck on your endeavours.Delete
If I may be so bold and answer this. Judging by The Craftsman's accent there is no place he could be from other than the USA. As a fellow Canadian, I'm shocked you didn't know that.Delete
Hello! My name is Joe I love watching your videos. I'm 16 and my dad just launched his and his colleagues product. It is a easy DIY designed floors and backslashes. I was telling him about your channel and he wanted to send you free products, all you would do is use the product. Here's a link to the website. Email me back if interested! https://designispersonal.com/welcome-to-our-new-website/ReplyDelete

I just started watching your 12K series on youtube and I am so impressed with your work. I haven't finished and I have no idea how it ends up but you are so much better than the stuff on HGTV. Good luck.ReplyDelete
I've just saw your video on YouTube where you made a traditional hand saw, I'm looking for something like this to add to my bushcrafging kit and was wandering if you made these to sell at all?ReplyDelete

Random question. Just out of curiosity (because it popped up on Youtube) I watch your video titled "$12,000 HOUSE - One Man Renovation" and as I watched it, at minute 7:16 I found the background music quite relaxing and wanted to know the name of it, please. (If that's ok hehe.)ReplyDelete
@Homemade Home Homey, I was thinking about this today. Here's what I think.ReplyDelete
Most of these comments are from women.
(you can tell by how gushy they are written) YOU are the man of their dreams.
Wives and girlfriends are always wanting what Joanna has or some other damned 'improvement', like a dresser all covered with mirror, or some other Brilliant idea that they see on YT or in some women's magazine or at the Jones's.
Women however need "honey" to realize these dreams, right? Hence endless "honeydo" lists. Rarely can They themselves do these projects. But men are expected to know and DO, and we all fall short!
Now if they just had a guy like you?!?!
So the theory is that they are crushing on you and unconsciousnessly "buttering you up", so that YOU can somehow do what their men don't, cannot or won't do.
So you have them all wrapped around your little finger in big way. All you have to do is ask them to shout out or mention something in the comments, and OBVIOUSLY they are thrilled to do it. That is how they are going to get the tile ripped out of their bathroom, so they think. I didn't even hear you say that at first, I kinda block out ads.
This is my theory. You could test it out in an upcoming episode???
I am so sorry for the accusation!
But when MOST comments don't even pertain to the video, but just, "Simplialarm" is such a wonderful company!" without saying, "I have had this for a year and like it." They all just say it is great but none say why, I got suspicious.
Many apologies, I know you are telling the truth.
Hope you get this, if so, can you take out the periods and send to yahoo.com?
i enjoyed your youtube channel, but I have two questions:ReplyDelete
What is your name and which state are youy in?
btw, I just bought your book...Delete

Hi! I have been watching your YouTube videos and would love to learn more about your background on how you learned to flip houses. I am very interested in learning more about renovation processes and would really like to hear more about your experience.ReplyDelete
Just watched the final episode of the $15,000 house and was curious why, when showing the kitchen, you did not put in an exhaust fan either directly through the outer wall to the right or a ventless one over the stove? I rather enjoy your programs!ReplyDelete
Continued best wishes
